This section of the web-site covers all you need to know about the tutoring activities of the club.
If you have never had any advanced riding tutoring you will find that it inspires confidence, allowing you to enjoy your riding even more than you do already.
The only requirement for Associate membership is that you already hold a full motorcycle licence. There's no requirement to have done any advanced training prior to joining although many of our associates have attended BikeSafe, completed an Enhanced Rider Scheme or already achieved an IAM pass.
Why not use RoSPA Advanced riding training to hone your skills to the next level? After all, RoSPA's Gold Advanced Riding Award is the highest civilian riding award in the UK!
- To find out more about what tutoring the club offers, read the Your Commitment and Our Commitment pages.
- To find out more about RoSPA Advanced Riding generally read the Roadcraft and RoSPA Test pages.
Slow riding course 14th March 2020
A great turn out for our first training of the year approx. 20 riders including Observers and Associates.
The morning started with a coffee and a bacon roll and a good old chat and introduction .
Then it was out on to the car park for the training.
First up Balance walking around your machine and Slow machine control from Pete the lead trainer for the day .
Next we went onto slow riding with anyone talking part we ensured everyone practicing always had two people next to them in case they lost balance as we didn’t want any bikes hitting the floor…..
