Ride Outs

The club organise regular ride-outs throughout the year.  Some are short half day circular routes, some are longer all day events.  Some ride-outs are to visit an event that is running such as BikeSafe.

Ride-outs are generally members only - the itinerary for this year is in the members area of this site.

We take every care to ensure that our ride-outs are conducted as safely as possible.  We make sure we provide the support necessary for riders of abilities and riding all types of bike to feel comfortable.

The lead riders are always in radio contact with the tail riders, who will always be experienced members of the club.  This ensures that the tail riders can follow slower riders within the group at the rear, and still keep the group together.  Members ride all different types of machines (see the members bikes page) so you will never feel out of place.  Those who want to set a hot (yet safe!) pace, can do so at the front of the group.

The events are always great fun and offer a chance to have your riding informally assessed by your fellow members!

Informal rides

As well as the official ride-outs organised by the club, we provide an email forum service to all our members allowing them to easily contact each other.  In this way, members can quickly contact each other to arrange impromptu rides.
